It’s that time of the year again when we prepare to go on the road with our Workshop series.
After the overwhelmingly positive response we received last year and as a result of the survey of customers to which 128 of you responded, we’re going to be building upon the theme of dealing with vastly changed paths and the opportunity that now presents.
The ability to read the market, develop winning strategies and execute with excellence will determine the fate of all wine businesses going forward. We have therefore developed a program to help you understand change, identify opportunity and optimise the performance of your wine business.
Most are aware by now that the key change drivers include;
- Retail power wielding – supply chain rationalisation and own label competition etc.
- Changes in the On-Premise
- Increased Direct sales opportunity
- Greater communication intensity.
- The transition from products and services to experiences.
- Persistent strong currency
- The developing world driving growth.
- Global recovery
Our customers influence and sometimes lead this change. All of the above factors are having a profound effect on how, when and where we choose wine and what wine we choose.
What our ‘Optimise your Wine Business” workshop program will focus upon is where the resulting opportunities lie, how to address them with the aid of the best low cost technology and how to optimise business performance in the process of building competitive advantage.
I know it’s going be a lot of fun and I look forward a great deal to seeing you all there. To find out more about workshops coming soon to McLaren Vale, The Barossa, Western Australia and Stellenbosch, follow this link.
